God is Truth

Three texts that display the nature of truth in the persons of the Trinity:

God the Father

Romans 3:3–4:

“What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it? May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar.”

God the Son

John 14:6:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.”

God the Spirit

John 15:26:

“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness of me . . . .”

Now may the Trinitarian God of truth sanctify us and keep us as we proclaim His truth to a world who so desperately needs Him, who is the Truth.
