Observing the Interweb: Vote?, Disconnected, Solid Joys, Stay-At-Home Dads, Accurate World Map,

When Not Voting is Voting – Thabiti has a great post on the common practice of voting for the “lesser of two evils” in a given election, and why this is the wrong way to exercise your right to vote.

Just Disconnect – As someone who feels too connected too often, I love Carl Trueman’s article here on the importance of disconnecting from technology. Worth some thought.

Solid Joys – Few people have a way of speaking to the soul of a person like John Piper. Now, thanks to the new app Solid Joys, his God-glorifying, soul stirring words are available in daily, bite-sized chunks.

Stay At Home Dads? – The “stay at home dad” issue is a sensitive one in our culture, one that is more nuanced than we might realize. Denny Burk has presented some thoughts by people on both sides of the issue.

What the world actually looks like – I grew up with giant North America Centric maps on my school walls, never knowing that Alaska wasn’t actually the size of Europe, or that Greenland and China are nowhere near the same size. This map puts things in proper perspective.

American Men Don’t Sing – Needed to hear this one. Scottsman Alistair Begg explains a sad reality in our country, men don’t sing, in church or otherwise.
