Observing the Interweb: “Christian Music”, “Christian Movies”, Fake Love and War, and more…

It’s been a while, but I’m back with new links for you to like (or at least read!)

Christian Music? – There is an ongoing debate about the term Christian music. Is it helpful? Is it off-putting? Can music really be “Christian”? I’ve tried to stay up on the shape of this debate for years, and I appreciate Bobby Giles perspective over at My Song in the Night. They’ve got several other posts and links to other posts about this topic for your convenience.

Christian Movies? – And speaking of Christian music, here’s a few posts (here, here , and here) from last month on Christians and movies for your enjoyment and enrichment. These are things worth thinking through for those in, but not of, this world.

The Demise of Guys – If you haven’t read this one, you should. This generation of males is being systematically destroyed by two of the things they love the most, video games and porn. The reformed community weighs in on this secular article here, here, and here.

Leadership Lessons from Ike – The ARt of Manliness has an exceptionally helpful series right now on Leadership Lessons from former president Dwight Eisenhower. Parts two and three are available as well.

The Quotable Chesterton – G.K. Chesterton was a brilliant man, and this post gives much proof of that.
