New Music: Tim Hughes, Love Shine Through

In 2007, Tim Hughes released Holding Nothing Back, which in my opinion is one of the best praise albums to be released in the last 5 years. This week, after 4 years of waiting, Love Shine Through arrived. And it does not disappoint. I’m not going to give a full detailed review of the new album, I just want to let you know that it is here. My personal favorites thus far are Counting On Your Name and At Your Name, but really, the whole album is great. Tim has really established himself as a song-writer for the church. You can tell he works hard to produce songs that can be adapted to the congregation (with some tweaking) without losing the freshness and creativity that you want when listening in your car. Most of all, Tim is deeply God-centered in His lyrics, and that is the best thing he can give to us.

Get it!
