A Day Late and A Dollar Short: A Musical Poem by St. Patrick (and me)

Last year, I ran across a poem by St. Patrick, and in a moment of inspiration, I added a chorus and set it to music. Admittedly, it’s very simple, but I thought it would be worth sharing even a day late, since, many people are still celebrating (i.e. recovering from) yesterday’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Enjoy…

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me,

Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger

Chorus:

Christ is all, Christ in all
On the Rock, Oh Lord, I fall
By Your mercy, You have purchased me
You are all, You are all
